Why Ford Is Asking: Part of a Bigger, Industry-Wide Commitment

Ford has committed to global carbon neutrality by 2050, covering vehicles, operations, and its supply chain. Suppliers are now asked to cut their own footprint by 25% by 2030, in line with science-based targets. In Europe, the goal is even more concrete: carbon-neutral production and supply chain by 2035.

In April 2022, Ford became a founding member of Catena-X, the automotive industry's shared data space for supply chain transparency. The goal is one shared standard across the whole industry - so the PCF setup you build for Ford carries over to other OEM requests, too.
